DSLR Camera

Sebenarnya aku bukanlah pencinta gadged tapi aku lumayan banyak tau tentang hal-hal berbau gadged. Dan untuk kamera?? Jujur, aku kurang paham. Tapi buat pacarku, jangan ditanya deh.. Dia itu cinta banget sama fotografi. Makanya dia sangat teliti memilih kamera yang akan dipakai. So dia memilih kamera DSLR untuk menyalurkan hobby-nya. Harga kamera jenis ini memang mahal sekali (menurutku).

Aku senang sekali karena selalu dilibatkan dalam segala hal termasuk hal fotografi. Jujur, kamera DSLR keren sekali. Dia memiliki setting yang bisa dibilang sempurna. Selain itu gambarnya juga sangat bersih. Aku bukan orang orang yang mengerti kamera dan fotografi jadi aku tidak akan membahas hal-hal teknis disini.

Kemaren pacarku baru membeli lensa kamera baru agar bisa menangkap object yang jauh. Dan lagi mengeluarkan uang yang lumayan banyak ^ __ ^ Setelah kami test, hasilnya memang keren. Object-nya jelas sekali padahal object tersebut berjarak 1 km dari kamera. Aku sampai takjub. Apalagi kalau orang yang mengambil gambar mengerti tentang "angle" (aduuhh..apa ya istilahnya). Katanya kamera akan bisa menangkap object yang lebih jauh lagi dan tentunya dengan bantuan lensa yang lain lagi. Dan tentu saja dengan harga yang lebih mahal lagi. Wuiihhhh... duit lagi, duit lagi.

Intinya, kamera DSLR itu keren selama kita bisa menggunakannya dengan benar. Maksudnya, kita mengetahui setting dan teknik yang benar dalam mengambil object/gambar. Atau akan sia-sia beli mahal tapi tidak bisa menggunakannya.

Teach Me How to Dream

Percaya atau tidak, untuk "mulai" menuliskan kalimat pembuka di blog ini aku membutuhkan waktu 20 menit. God!!!! Memang sulit sekali rasanya menuliskan apa yang ada dibenakku. Terlalu banyak spawning process di benakku ketika ingin menuliskan sesuatu. Misalkan saja ya, aku ingin menuangkan lirik sebuah lagu yang kudengar saat ini ke blog tapi ntah kenapa harus kumulai dari "album musik pertama yang kumiliki". Hahaha.. :D

Phewww... perjuangan berat buatku ;D

Pernah dengar lagu "Teach Me How To Dream" dari Robbie McAuley blom?
Waktu aku masih anak-anak (kalau ga salah SD), aku sering sekali mendengar lagu ini di rumah. Mam sering sekali memutar kaset di rumah dan salah satu lagu yang sering diputar adalah "Teach me How To Dream". Sejak kuliah aku sudah tidak pernah lagi mendengar lagu ini bahkan aku hampir melupakannya.

Sekitar tahun 2006 aku pernah dengar lagu ini di radio saat pulang dari Pelangi. Otomatis aku langsung kepikiran untuk mencari lagu ini. Sebenarnya aku tidak tau siapa penyanyi, judul, dan lirik lagu tersebut. Maklumlah..waktu aku mendengarkan lagu ini usiaku sekitar 10 - 12 tahun. Karena penyanyinya sering mengucapkan "teach me how to dream" maka aku menyebutnya lagu "teach me how to dream". Dan ternyata benar, bahwa judulnay "teach me how to dream". Aku cari ke teman-temanku namun mereka semua merasa belom pernah mendengar lagu bertittle seperti itu. Haaahhh... sepertinya aku memang ga bisa menemukan lagu ini.

Dua tahun setelah terakhir aku mendengar lagu itu (yaitu tahun 2008), tanpa sengaja aku melihat status Gtalk temanku "Teach Me How To Dream". Ternyata dia sedang mendengar lagu tersebut dan di status Gtalk dia memilih "Show Current Music Track" makanya di statusnya tercetak "Teach Me How To Dream". Secara spontan aku tanya ke dia apa itu lagu slow pop rock? Dia mengiyakan. Aku minta supaya dia mengirimkan file mp3 lagu tersebut ke emailku.

Begitu lagunya kudownload dr email, dengan cepat aku langsung memutar lagunya. Rasanya puasss sekali... Selama 2 tahun pencarian akhirnya dapat jg.
Kemudian aku googling untuk mendapatkan lirik lagunya. Ya ampuunnn.. ternyata lirik lagunya bagus banget. Aku langsung teringat Mam di rumah.. yang baru-baru ini curhat sm adekku riris. Adekku menceritakan apa yang diceritakan Mam. Secara tidak langsung aku merasa lagu ini mewakili sekali... Tanpa sadar, air mataku menetes untuk semua hal yang telah kulalui karena dukungan Mam. Bahkan lagu ini pun kudapatkan sesuai waktu. Berulang-ulang aku mendengar lagu ini sambil teringat smua hal tentang Mam. Tidak ada yg bisa menggantikan cintaku ini ke Mam. Pindah Blog

Hari ini aku pindah blog dari blog lama ke blog baru. Kenapa? Karena blog lamaku tidak bisa menampilkan tittle. Jadi setiap postingan tidak memiliki tittle atau judul. Kan ga enak bgt kalo baca sesuatu yang tidak ada judulnya. So kuputuskan untuk migrasi ke blog baru. Alhasil, hari ini banyak sekali postingan hehehehe.. ;)

GRADE

Seberapa pentingkah arti "grade" kepada seseorang? Setiap orang pasti memiliki standart yang berbeda-beda bukan? Ada orang yang ingin mendapatkan grade A untuk semua mata pelajaran. Ada orang yang ingin grade A atau B dan tidak ada C. Ada orang yang ingin grade A, B atau C selama IPK nya >= 3.00. Ada juga yang terima grade dan IPK berapapun itu selama tidak ada mata kuliah yang mengulang. Bahkan ada yang tidak perduli sama sekali, mau lulus ataupun tidak lulus. Untuk yang terakhir ini aku kurang paham apa alasannya kuliah. Yang pasti aku berada pada posisi yang ke 3, yaitu grade A, B, atau C selama IPK >= 3.0.

Tapi setelah hasil UAS semester 2 keluar, ada sedikit kekecewaan di dalam hatiku. Hasilnya sih lumayan dan bisa dikatakan bagus walaupun tak sebagus nilai semester 1. Kenapa aku harus kecewa? Padahal nilaiku kan sesuai dengan apa yang kustandartkan. Yup benar.. hanya saja aku merasa bahwa nilai UASku tidak sesuai dengan harapan dan kerja kerasku selama ini. Nilai UTS ku sih bagus2 tapi ntah kenapa semua nilaiku anjlok di UAS. Kalau dibilang masalah kurang persiapan, aku ga setuju karena justru disinilah persiapanku lebih matang daripada yang sebelum - sebelumnya. Mungkin aku harus mengoreksi apa yang kurang selama ini.

Setelah kupikir-pikir, sepertinya nilai-nilai kurang umur ini disebabkan karena kurangnya pengetahuanku akan pelajaran tersebut. Saat ujian aku mengandalkan otakku yang kecil ini untuk menghafal. Tanpa memahami lebih dalam dan tanpa mengetahui contoh-contoh nyatanya dalam bentuk kasus. Kenapa sampai kurang contoh kasus atau analasisa? Ternyata karena aku sering bolos kuliah :( aku lebih memilih main game Age of Empire di kantor daripada kuliah.

Nah sekarang aku bertekad agar semakin rajin kuliah dan konsentrasi penuh saat belajar. Masih ada kesempatan di SP dan semester 3 untuk meningkatkan nilai.
